Skylight home is thoughtfully designed to maximise visibility, the expansive open-plan layout and floor-to-ceiling rear windows offer wonderful views of the pool area.

 

Upon entry, guests are welcomed into the living room featuring an inviting L-shaped sofa on the right, while an adjacent living area boasts two 3-seater sofas and a cosy log fireplace on the left. A few steps forward, a modern, fully equipped kitchen with a spacious island seamlessly transitions into a dining room, leading to a stunning outdoor oasis with a large pool adorned with a water fountain.

A broad and inviting staircase ascends to the first floor, housing three double bedrooms, each offering the luxury of an en-suite bathroom for utmost privacy. On the second floor, the double bedroom boasts distant sea and countryside views through expansive windows. Accessible via a spiral staircase, the second floor also features an additional bathroom and a laundry room, complemented by a generous terrace for utter relaxation.

The picturesque village of Xaghra is rich in history and culture and is surrounded by the stunning bays of Ramla, Għajn Barrani and Marsalforn. Xaghra is cradled by the verdant valleys of Ramla, Ta’ l-Għejjun and Marsalforn, enhancing its natural allure.

 

Xagħra has been inhabited since ancient times, bearing witness to millennia of human civilization. At its heart lies the remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Ġgantija temple complex, dating back to 3600BC, showcasing two Neolithic stone temples—one of the oldest freestanding stone structures in the world.

 

Just a stone's throw away from the temples lies the Ta’ Kola Windmill, an impeccably restored eighteenth-century windmill, complete with its original machinery and meticulously preserved miller’s quarters.

 

The Pomskizillious Museum of Toys, boasts an enchanting collection of antique toys and featuring a waxwork tribute to the renowned artist and wordsmith Edward Lear, who famously coined the term "pomskizillious" to describe Gozo's breathtaking coastal vistas.

 

Delving deeper, through the residential streets lie the captivating Xerri’s Grotto and Ninu’s Cave, renowned for their mesmerising stalagmites and stalactites formed over millennia by the slow trickle of rainwater through limestone. Overlooking the stunning Ramla Bay, the mythological Calypso’s Cave adds an air of mystique to the landscape, believed to be the fabled abode of the nymph Calypso in Homer’s Odyssey.

 

Xaghra holds one of the most bustling squares, with numerous cafes and restaurants, making it the perfect place to enjoy the long warm summer nights whilst enjoying a lovely glass of wine.

House rules

To ensure a pleasant stay, we would like to inform you about some additional services and charges. Please take note of the following details:

 

1) Kindly note that no parties or events are allowed.

2) Smoking is not allowed in the property.

3) Noise levels must be kept down at all times.

4) Pets are not accepted at this property.

5) Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am.

6) Electricity consumption is included. However this is capped at 45 electricity consumption per day. In the case these units are exceeded the charge for the extra consumed units will be calculated at the end of your stay. On your arrival we will take note of the electricity meter reader.

7) A Security deposit of 300Euro is pre-authorized on a valid credit/debit card 2 weeks prior to your arrival. The Security deposit will then be refunded after a week after check-out if no damages are found.

8) A non-refundable deposit of 30% will be charged upon booking and the remaining non-refundable balance due will be charged 30 days prior to the arrival.
